Starting from
$120 per song
Editing and mixing are separate services, each priced per song — the same rate whether the song was recorded here or sent in, provided the session arrives prepared. Recording is billed hourly, because session length depends on what is being tracked.

The details
- Turnaround
- Each service carries its own minimum turnaround, and 24 hours is deliberate rather than arbitrary. I edit, then return to the session the next day with fresh ears to catch what fatigue hides — and mix the same way. A straightforward 4–8 vocal track session turns around in 24 hours per service; booking editing and mixing together means 48. Complexity adds time. Mastering follows within 3 hours of the mix being signed off.
- Revisions
- Two rounds included, case by case beyond that
- What you send
- Supplied on request, case by case
Sound & PA
Hosting and performance are booked separately from sound, because what a room needs varies enormously. If your venue is not covered, I can engineer it or bring the system in.
Why recording is hourly
Recording is hourly because the work is not the same job twice. A solo artist over a beat is a few tracks and a quick setup. A four-piece band tracked live means far more channels, far more microphones, and setup time before a note is recorded. Billing by the hour keeps that honest in both directions — you are not subsidising a session you did not need, and complex sessions are not rushed to fit a flat fee.
Solo artist over a beat
Typically a handful of vocal tracks
Full band, tracked live
Commonly 16 or more tracks
Preparing your session for mixing
Sending a session recorded elsewhere? A tidy session mixes faster and costs you less.
- Label the session folder with the song name, tempo and key.
- Name every track for its take and the part it plays — lead vocal verse, chorus, high harmony, piano solo, and so on.
- Start all audio tracks from the beginning of the song, so everything lines up on import.
